I looked for this annoucement on roottalk, but I couldn't find it, and

That sounds good.  Some questions (sorry and ignore if you already
answered the questions in the annoucement): 

* Will in incorporate the STAR stuff?  
* Will it allow for division of nodes, like in GEANT 3.21?  
* Will it have methods like TNode::IsInside(const TVector3& r) const?
* Will it have the possibility of attaching electromagnetic fields to
  a volume?  And tracking parameters? 
* Will it be something like the GEANT 4 classes?
* Could one possibly use the physics algorithms of GEANT 4 and/or
  3.21, so that one could implment a detector simulation solely in
  ROOT and not do all sorts of wierd loops to get GEANT 3.21/4 to
  interface with the ROOT geometry definition?
