Hi, > This work with "no problem" if ROOT is installed for "personal use", and > into some non-standard place, and this place is "MSDOS-like" directory, > i.e. the name of the directory has no internal blanks at least. I use root with Win2000 pro, located in the following directory: D:\Program File\root (but this does not work with Win95) I created a C:\autoexec.bat file with the following lines: set ROOTSYS=D:\Program Files\root set CINTSYSDIR=%ROOTSYS%\cint set HOME=F:\local\root PATH=%PATH%;%ROOTSYS%\bin;F:\local\exe And it works fine; I only use it on the PC where root is installed. I installed it by unziping the gz file. I work with macros and compiled programs I compiled with MSVC++ v6.0 standard edition. Ciao, Bernard Genolini
