[ROOT] Differences between Main Thread and TThread

Hi Rooters,

Could someone please tell me what the differences between the main thread
and a TThread are?


Specifically, I am writing an EPICS server that handles slow controls, and
I would like to put all the polling of epics variables on a TThread.
Polling works fine from the main part of the program, but I get a
segmentation violation when I try to put it on a TThread. Is there
something that I should be looking for?
