Hi Pasha,

rootd uses the srp (Secure Remote Protocol) for its transactions.
In case of Kerberos, one could adapt rootd to use the Kerberos
authentification system. Any volunteer to do this ?

I know that Fons (currently on holidays) has plans to include
the GRID authentification stuff in the system. He will give you
a more complete answer as soon as he will be online.
