Hi Rooters, well my root file reading problem took some another hours of debugging. The problem drove me almost carzy, because some of my App finally could read the file, where others crashed reading the SAME file. The only difference in my app was, that the crashing ones had all root libs linked, and the working ones only the needed ones. I guess the only problem lies in libnew. This gave me month ago CustomRealloc errors, but sometimes the program just crashes. I guess libnew is only neede for cint ? So is it possible in Future distributions to put libnew only in the bin folder where cint is ? One can very quickly forgett to exclude this lib in a c++ project ! Joe
