Hi Rene,

no, this is not straight forward. At the time I have to create the
instance I don't yet know the binning...

Maybe you can add a function which makes the direct usage of TAxis
possible. A function which must be called after you did a change to one
of the axis, like UpdateXaxis(), UpdateYaxis(), ...
