[ROOT] Canvas on top of each other

  Dear Rooters,
  Suppose you have 2 canvas of the same size, drawn on top of each other.
What is the ROOT command which make the one behind coming before ? I have
tried

    canvas2->cd();
or  canvas2->Update();
or  canvas2->Modified();
or  canvas2->Pop();

  without success. Thanks for your help.
