[ROOT] 2d histo color levels

Hello all,

i wonder if there is a way of changing the algorithm by wich the color
levels in a 2d plot with "col" option are evaluated. If i draw a 2d histo
with a number of colors less than the largest z-value, root simply scales
all levels to fit. In this case i loose a lot of information if i am looking
on structures with low numbers if there are large peaks in the plot. So i do
not want to change the colors of those levels (which i found as an answer in
an older request) but to change the levels themselve. And, no, i don't want
to use the contour option. Any help is welcome...

greetings,
		Daniel
