Well, this time I think I can answer my own question:

I solved the problem by changing the title of the 
histogram using the SetTitle() member function before
replotting it, and it stopped complaining.

I still don't know whether there is an option that
allows you not to draw the title box when you draw
a histogram (I am sure there is but I am still too
novice).
