Hello,
I use root v3.02/07 in Win2k. On most machines, here it works fine.
However,
on one machine here, I get the error message
Error SelectPalette for Pixmap - 0
four times when I simply create a new canvas with
TCanvas *pC = new TCanvas("pC");
subsequent plots have messed up colors - colz plots in particular are
useless -
each bin is displayed as either black or white. The only way I can get root
to
"work" on this particular machine is set to color depth to 8 bits - then the
quality
is poor.
Here's a hint, perhaps: the machine with the problem has an Quadro2 Pro AGP
video card. The other machines, where root works fine, do not have this
particular
card.
What does this message mean? HAs anyone else had similar problems?
Thanks..
