[ROOT] signal handlers

Hi,

    I've looked through the root archives and I can't find anything that specifically addresses the problem I'm having. I'd just like to write out a simple tree with
some data in it and it appears that one of the ROOT protocols I'm using conflicts
with the system signal handler (essentially, the signal handler is ignored for the
duration of the program). Am I required to use the signal routines provided by
TSystem and TSysEvtHandler? Thanks very much,
