my problem is the definition of a primary particle.
Until now, i selected (or i thought to select) the primary particles in
the Hijing (Pb-Pb) events in this fashion:
GetFirstMother()<0
(i find this selection type in the macro anal.C in the directory
$ALICE_ROOT/macros);
but with the same selection with Pythia generator (and proton-proton
events) i did not found primary particles (that is, with
GetFirstMother()<0), while i found particles with:
GetSecondMother()<0...
My problem is the definition of a primary particle...
