I have received several similar requests for a landau convoluted with gaussian this week. Looking with google, I have found a ROOT class from by H.Pernegger (Heinz.Pernegger@cern.ch) and Markus.Friedl@cern.ch. This class seems to be very well documented. See: http://www4.rcf.bnl.gov/~phobos/PhatSrc/src/TPhdEdxFunctions.cxx.html A variant of this class could go to ROOT if the original authors agree.
