Hi rooters, There is a new package to write client/server applications with ROOT. It provides: 1. Starting and management of tasks 2. Intertask communication (asynchronous command/object transfer) 3. Thread manager is included (lock guard) 4. Exception handling 5. Recommended: ROOT >2.25 on Linux 6. Example Some remarks: The task handler is heavily used inside Go4 where analysis and GUI run in different tasks. Class names are prefixed with TGo4... but the package is completely separated from Go4.
