RE: [CINT] RE: [ROOT] How to avoid rootcint message

Thanks Masa for this specification.

What I would like to see is that the message "link requested for unknown
class MyMisSpelledClass FILE:LinkDef.h" to be seen with -J0, -J1 (i.e.
as if it was an error message).

Thanks,
Philippe.

Subject: [CINT] RE: [ROOT] How to avoid rootcint message

Hello Fons and Philippe,

Yes, I can enable this message even in silent mode. Before I
do this, I want ot confirm what is the right behavior. I did
not tell you but -J option can take number other than 0.

  -J0 : Display nothing
-J1 : Display only error message
-J2 : Display error and warning message
-J3 : Display error, warning and note
  -J4 : Display all information

Messages are sorted by severity. The message you want to see
is a note. So, it will be shown by -J3. This can be a problem
if you do not want to see warning messages but this note only.
Of course I can make this one an exception. Is that really what
you want?

Thank you
Masaharu Goto
