Dear Mr. Chen,
I'm not an expert, but as far as I remember my root installation it was
necessary to setup three environmen variables; this is a piece of my
.tcshrc file:
setenv ROOTSYS /local/root
if ( ${?LD_LIBRARY_PATH} ) then
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH ${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}:${ROOTSYS}/lib
else
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH ${ROOTSYS}/lib
endif
setenv PATH ${PATH}:${ROOTSYS}/bin
