[ROOT] Avoid histogram lines on y-axis

Hi,

is it possible to get rid of the left- and rightmost vertical
histogram lines, which are plotted on top of the axes?
gPad->RedrawAxis() does not help, if the line width of the
histogram is thicker than the line width of the axis.
On the x-axis there is a similar problem for logarithmic y-scale.
Bins with contents 0 are in this case plotted on top of the x-axis.
