Hi Dmitri, Several reasons: - once errors are computed, error bars are drawn with the histogram. Most people do not want to see the errors - There are many applications dividing thousands of histograms. Space used by errors may be substantial in this case. - We assume that if somebody is interested by correct errors, he will make sure that the input errors are correct.
