[ROOT] TCanvas OFF

Hi.
I'm using ROOT libraries by an external package and, somewhere in the
code, I instantiate a TCanvas object.
When the object is created it appears on the display.
When I run many jobs on LSF, my screen is crowded of Canvases...
Is there an option to create graph objects without painting them?
(I already know "root -b" but I can't use it in this case)
