In my case, there were no compilation problems with gcc-3.2 and
root_v3.03.08.source.tar.gz on SuSE 8.0.

gcc-3.1, gcc-3.2, and icc (intel-icc6-6.0-159) compile root_v3.03.08
on SuSE 7.3 without any troubles so I suppose the same will happen on
SuSE 8.0.

The default gcc-2.95.3 on SuSE 8.0 doesn't support C++ features I use
so I didn't test it.
