Dear Joern and Marc,
we used root with TThread class on Linux i386 without trouble with
RedHat 6.2. After upgrading our computer to RedHat 7.2 and later to 7.3,
we were able to run neither our program nor your examples (RunPi.C &
co.).
We debugged the trouble and found where the bug is: it is in the
glibc 2.2.4, therefore we solved it with an upgrade of glibc 2.2.5-37 .
We compiled the rpm's for RH7.2, if you need them, you can download
them from: /afs/lnf.infn.it/user/p/piano/public/RH72/
For RH7.3 you can look at redhat mirror sites.
