[ROOT] variable argument emulation like for printf ?

Hi,

Sorry to come back to this problem, I have a compiled function that uses
variable arguments. I know it doesn't work on my machines of choice
(alphas) but I would like to emulate it. Is there a simple way to tell
cint not to use a given function but to replace it with a set of
overloaded functions that do not use variable arguments?
In other words, can someone remind me how and where is printf emulated
properly in Cint code?

Thanks very much

Damir
