[ROOT] fitting to histograms in batch mode

Within my program I want to fit to some histograms, and I have three
questions.

I keep getting this warning once and again:
"Warning in <TH1D::Fit>: Abnormal termination of minimization."

The problem is: I don't know in what run it is, if I could only catch an
exception and tag that run so i can look at it after the program is done
would be nice. Is it possible? can I catch exceptions?

Also, I don't want to see all the messages in the screen, since the y
give no info whatsoever. How do I stop warnings from coming out on the
screen?

Another thing is that, even when I use the 'Q' option for the Fit method
it still writes some things to the screen, and when I'm doing many
fittings over many runs it's just too much. How can I stop the output?
