[ROOT] Tick marks

Hi,

I am trying to plot several histograms together and to distinguish them I
am filling them with different colors. The problem is that when I do that
the tick marks on the x-axis do not show anymore. I am pretty sure this
is a known feature but I cannot find the email that gives the solution.
