Hi Tomasz,

  it seems there is something wrong with your proofd, since a telnet to
1093 should not result in the connection to be immediately closed. It
should stay open like for 1094. Please check /var/log/message to see if
there are some error messages. You probably have not set the roosys_dir
argument correctly for proofd, which must point to where root is
installed. Typically you do:
ln -s ~/root /usr/local/root and set this argument to /usr/local/root.
