The main problem is that for ROOT we need the libAfterImage version from
CVS. You specifically need the libAfter_HEAD tag:

cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.aftercode.net:/home/cvsroot checkout -r
libAfter_HEAD afterstep-devel/libAfterImage

Once we precompile everything this will be simpler. But when you compile
ROOT yourself you need to be aware of this or use the AfterImage source
tar we provide.
