[ROOT] questions about the next production version

Hi,

I have a couple questions about the plans for the next production
version of Root. First, what is the time frame for the release
of a new production version? Second, at ISDC we have need for
several features which (last I checked) require special action
to enable at install time. They are: image classes (the ones
developed at ISDC), support for the long long type, and catching
in the interpreter exceptions which were thrown from compiled
code. I can of course manually enable these features, and I do
not mind doing so, but for the sake of our users it would be
more convenient if these could be enabled by default. What would
you think about simply enabling these in the next production
release?

James
