The development version of Root 3.05/02 is now available in source and
binary form. see http://root.cern.ch/

This version has the CVS tag v3.05.02

This version has several interesting new features. Note in particular
  - a few improvements in the rootcint parser
  - several improvements in the support for foreign classes
  - an improved version of the geometry package including in particular
    an automatic volume overlap detection algorithm and visualisation.
  - TTF fonts by default.
  - a new directory $ROOTSYS/test/RootShower including a very nice demo
    of a Root-based GUI developed by Bertrand Bellenot. To play with it, do:
    cd $ROOTSYS/test/RootShower
    gmake
    RootShower
