[ROOT] User command too long

Hi,

I'm using ROOT 3.04.02 on Redhat Linux 7.2.

Back on Jan. 30, 2003 - there was a posting from Rene stating:

 >We extended the maximum number of characters in an input line from 256
 >to 2048 in version 3.03/09
 >

I just tried the following at the command line:

root [0] char *list[] =
{"muon_pencil_300MeV_centerTile0022_acdtop-run1-mc.root",
"muon_pencil_300MeV_centerTile0022_acdtop-run2-mc.root",
muon_pencil_300MeV_centerTile0022_acdtop-run3-mc.root",
"muon_pencil_300MeV_centerTile0022_acdtop-run4-mc.root",
muon_pencil_300MeV_centerTile0022_acdtop-run5-mc.root"};
!!! User command too long !!!

Has the maximum number of characters really been increased as of 3.03/09?

Thanks,
Heather
