Hi! I've just downloaded the binary distro of root for AIX, installed it on a AIX-4.3 and ran it successfully (though it is stated that it should only work on 4.5 machines). The problem is that I can start it only from the $ROOTSYS directory. If I run it from some other dir I get an error. (BTW: I have set $LIBPATH, $PATH and $ROOTSYS correctly.) kiel@zx3 [/home/kiel]>root exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program /home/kiel/root/root/bin/root.exe because of the following errors: 0509-022 Cannot load module /home/kiel/root/root/lib/libGraf.a. 0509-150 Dependent module lib/libfreetype.a(libfreetype.so.6) could not be loaded. 0509-022 Cannot load module lib/libfreetype.a(libfreetype.so.6). 0509-026 System error: A file or directory in the path name does not exist. Is it possible that the path to libfreetype is hardcoded (ie. "./liblibfreetype.a")? Any help would be nice. Yours, Dipl.-Phys.
