[ROOT] TTree : Maximum length of unrolled banch name

Hi Rooters:

I am writing two identical classes into a TTree using split mode.
The unrolled TBranch names are:

MuEvent.mTriggerIdCollection.mNominalTriggerId.mThresholdVersion[32]
and MuEvent.mTriggerIdCollection.mNTriggerId.mThresholdVersion[32]

The first crashes when writing the tree in the unrollling of the branch.
The second works just fine.

What is the maximum length of the (unrolled) branch name ?
Is it possible to extend it in a new release.

Cheers,
	Frank

P.S.:
I am using ROOT/3.03.09 on RH Linux 7.1
