[ROOT] histo FillColor and axis label/grid - question

Hello list,

I'd like to draw around ten 1D histograms on top of each other with
different colors and FillStyle=1001 . The problem is that after drawing
the histograms, the axis labels on both axis and the grid in the pad is
not visible any more.
Is there a way of drawing the labels and grid on top of the histos?
(I couldn't make the fillstyle more transparent, as in that case all the
superimposed colors mix to black).
