I found interesting thing:
This works in debug version of 3.05, but not in release
(both regular & gdk)
So could you check it?
One more thing.
I expected the same behavior for #prod symbol
But it produces output as for the regular character..

Hi Michael,

 I have now installed ROOT 3.05/02 (WIN32 version) on my PC running 
Win2000. And for me the "latex.C" produces the right output both in the 
pad and in the PS file.
