Re: [ROOT] Seeking an FFTW Wrapper for Root

Hi,

In Virgo, we use a lot FFTW, but only on C structures and vectors. A
C++ version is in the works since a few months (years ?). However,
parsing the fftw headers in rootcint works fine except for a funny
construction, which one must bracket inside a #ifndef __CINT__
Since fftw 3 is in beta stage and removes many limitations of fftw2, we
are trying to make it work inside our environment.
For what it's worth, the C library using fftw, called Frv is publicly
available ( http://wwwlapp.in2p3.fr/virgo/FrameL , the second part of
the page) but I'm afraid one should put as much energy trying to
understand it than using directly fftw, without having yet a C++
interface.

Cheers

Damir
