hi, I have the same kind of problem in my scripts, the script is running well for a while and after a certain time or number of cycle of a loop, it begins to complain like CAUTION: tmpfile /tmp/Xr3iBV_cint can't open and the stream of this caution messages fill the screen, the script is mulfunctioned. but while the messages are filling the screen you can type .q and exit from ROOT framework. of course you do not see what you type. This does not happen only for the scripts I write, also for some of the scripts in tutoril directory of ROOT.
