Hi Kay,

   Use gSytem->SetBuildDir("/somewhere/osname");

See http://root.cern.ch/root/html/TSystem.html#TSystem:SetBuildDir

Cheers,
Philippe.

Subject: [ROOT] Specify output path for ACLIC

Hello ROOTers,

using ACLIC by generating shared libraries via

'gROOT->ProcessLine(".L libsrc.C+");' in rootlogon.C,

I would like to set a platform dependent output directory for the
libsrc_C.so file. I know that the macro search path can be customised
by i.e.:
Root.MacroPath: ~/$(PATH_TO_MACROS)
where $(PATH_TO_MACROS) is taken from the environment. However, I would
like ACLIC to compile the sources into different directories. So -- is
there a way of specifying the target directories at startup via an
environment variable?

Thank you for answers,
Kay
