Hello Wolfgang

STAR (http:www.star.bnl.gov) uses StHelix3DPoints class to draw helix in
3D
For its EventDiplay's
( class StHelix3DPoints : public TPoints3DABC )

Have a look:

http://www.star.bnl.gov/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/StRoot/StEventDisplayMaker/St
Helix3DPoints.h?rev=1.2&content-type=text/x-cvsweb-markup

If you have some troubles with that link above let me know I'll send you
the code with an attachment (roottalk filter any attachment out)

Well we don't use THelix :-) But you can grab the idea.

        Best regards, Valeri
