Hi Michael, If you use a custom Streamer, it might be that you wanted to save the object in a non standard way. This non standard might (or might not) be essential to the proper functioning of your class. The split mode by-pass your custom streamer and write each persistent data member is a standard way. This warning message let you know that their __might__ be an issue depending on your custom streamer. Cheers, Philippe. -----Original Message----- From: owner-roottalk@pcroot.cern.ch [mailto:owner-roottalk@pcroot.cern.ch]On Behalf Of Michael Gold Sent: Tuesday, April 29, 2003 12:17 PM To: roottalk@pcroot.cern.ch Subject: [ROOT] split mode & custom streamer Dear Rooters: What should I worry about when receiving this warning?
