The ROOT 3.05/04 Qt-edition for Windows is available to download
from http://root.bnl.gov Web site.
(It was uploaded at 21:00 EST 29-Apr-2003 , 17 Gb )
It includes a source code and the ready-to-try

ROOT macro of the well-known RootShower package (see:

One needs no effort (and instruction to read up :-) to install and try.

How to upgrade : If you want to upgrade your local ROOT version that had
been installed from the http://root.bnl.gov Web site, you may not have
uninstalled the obsolete one. Instead you can:
-- select the new version
-- select "Repair" to replace your current installation
with the brand new one.
The Qt-edition of the RootShower package was present last summer at
Acat2002 Workshop:

This code works for both platforms Unix as well as Windows.
I am working (slowly :-( to provide all ROOT GUI ( TG<family> ) classes
