Hello Toby,

Try to delete $ROOTSYS/lib/libNew.lib
and re-build your application again. This should help.
Try the version from http://root.bnl.gov <http://root.bnl.gov/> . It
has no this library at all.
  Thank you,
                        Valeri

Subject: [ROOT] TClonesArray problem?

help appreciated for the following: our GLAST ROOT expert is on
maternity leave and I am stuck.

We (she) create a TClonesArray, with code that works fine on Linux and
most of our Windows machines. But on a few, the object is created with
fKeep =0, which causes a crash later. This is with either VC6 or VC7.
The logic of the constructor seems to be that this would happen if it
was not passed an object that inherited from TObject, but there was no
error message. OTOH, I don't know if we would see such a message.

Any suggestions on what might cause this?

Toby Burnett
