Hi Otto,

The classes TSpectrum & TSpectrum2 have been imported from an original
implementation in C by Miroslav Morhac (Bratislava & Dubna).

I invited Miroslav for one week at CERN in April to implement/convert
his latest version. This work is not yet finished. Miroslav is busy
until this summer with his home work.

The TSpectrum class is operational. Some functions documented and
a simple tutorial (see $ROOTSYS/peaks.C) for peak finding created.

We have a doc file (see ftp://root.cern.ch/root/Spectrum.doc) describing
all the algorithms and functions API. We will include parts of this doc
file in the class itself.

The class TSpectrum2 has also been imported, but there are still several
problems with this class. It requires additional work from Miroslav
before announcing it and creating corresponding tutorials.
