Hi Sebastien,

They are a few ways to work around the problem (see other post in roottalk
on the subject). However the best is to move to root 3.05.04 or 3.05.05.

Cheers,
Philippe

Subject: [ROOT] longlong.h

Hello,

Here is my problem : I have a code which runs fine under ROOT Version
3.05/02 but somehow I have to move on another computer where ROOT Version
3.05/01 is installed and my prog fails at the compilation step with
the following message :

In file included from
/homesf1/greder/analyze/v00.00.01/d0/compile/./../d0algorithms/fileMd0ab4.cx
x:13:
/homesf1/greder/analyze/v00.00.01/d0/d0algorithms/fileMd0ab4.h:34:35:
lib/longlong/longlong.h: No such file or directory
g++:
/homesf1/greder/analyze/v00.00.01/d0/compile/./../d0algorithms/fileMd0ab4.o:
No such file or directory
Error in <ACLiC>: Compilation failed!

some file is (are?) missing, since I'm not the administrator could you
advice me what to tell to him to overcome this pb ?

architecture is RedHat 7.2 with :
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/2.96/specs
gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-98)

thanks,

seb.
