[ROOT]Fixing parameters without giving the value

Hi 

this might be very basic question but i could not find this thing.
Any one knows that if i want to fix the parameter without giving the value inthe arguments, how this can be done, for instance;

i use this: 

f->FixParameter( 0, <value>);
but i dont want to put this value i want to fix this whatever comes out if i set this free. so what i want is soem thing like:

f->FixParameter( 0 );
 but this is not acceptable if i use this in root.

any one knows how to solve this problem.
