[ROOT]: problem with PROOF on AlphaCompaqTru64 and root 3.04/01

Dear rooters

I work with ROOT v.3.04/01 on Alpha/CompaqTru64 v 5.1 in AFS cluster.

I compiled ROOT with --enable-afs --enable-mysql and DR__AFS flag in
CXXFLAGS and CFLAGS and it looks to work right (benchmark and test work
very well).

I'd like to try PROOF facility and I configured the cluster in according
to README.PROOF.

The services proofd and rootd are running (test with telnet <node>
1093/1094 is ok)

When I execute gROOT->Proof("<master-node>") in CINT it asks me userid
and password. Then I use AFS user defined onto /etc/passwd like
"user:AFSPW" and it answer "Okay" and then CINT goes in "*** Break ***
segmentation violation".

Could you help me?

Moreover I installed ROOT 3.05/05 on Pentium/linux redhat 8.0 (no AFS
client) with kernel 2.4.18-SGI (XFS extension) without problems and
configured proof with node: localhost and slave: localhost. CINT exit
withot message when I execute gROOT->Proof("localhost") with user/pwd of
root.

Best regards
