Also, I defined "TMPDIR" (correct spelling) in my login and it gets overwritten to the non-correct c:temp. Re- exporting it at the command line after login allows my compilation to continue. Yippee! (Earlier, I was re-exporting "TEMPDIR" and the misspelling is of course not what root uses during compile...)
