Hi, The most likely cause is that you have an improper set environment where the library available (via LD_LIBRARY_PATH, PATH and else) are not really compatible. Check that you are using a version of ROOT built with the compiler available on your system. For more information we would need a real stack trace (by running your program in gdb). Cheers, Philippe. -----Original Message----- From: owner-roottalk@pcroot.cern.ch [mailto:owner-roottalk@pcroot.cern.ch]On Behalf Of zaldy Sent: Friday, June 27, 2003 5:41 AM To: Rene Brun; roottalk@cern.ch Cc: zaldy Subject: [ROOT] runtime error...libCore.so error Dear Rene and Rooters, I wrote a simple code and I got some run time error messages for two compilers. I wrote the necessary infos on versions of Root and Compiler and the ERROR Messages at the URL: http://neutrino.kek.jp/~zaldy/root_work/MyRootFaq/comp_mesg_1.txt Probably this problem is already old. Can you tell me what this error messages all about? Do you know how to correct them? Is this a linking Problem? Thank you very much. -- -------------------------------------------------------- Zaldy A. Nawang PS Users Room 2 Yon Gokan, E362, Neutrino Group, IPNS, KEK, Japan e-mail: zaldy@neutrino.kek.jp Tel.
