Dear Rene In principle I do not want to implement additions to the ROOT browser, but I want to implement both frames, TGListTree and TRootIconBox, as frames in my own GUI application. So, I thought that I could extract the relevant code from TRootBrowser, and use it in my own GUI. Sorrowly, somehow I am stuck, since everything seems to be tightly coupled to TBrowser. In principle it should be possible to create an application similar to the MS WindowsExplorer using the TGClasses. I hope this explains what I would like to do.
