Hi Susan,

We are using fftw, which is becoming more and more a standard. The 
version 3 has just become available.
Try http://www.fftw.org
If you want to use it in compiled code, there is no problem. If you 
want to make it available through cint, I remember I had to tweak a bit 
the header files in version 2.1.3 so they could be parsed by rootcint. 
I don't know what happens with the version 3 header files.
