To clarify your problem can you set the trace mode before you "quit"
root

Something like this:

  Root > .T
  Root > .q

  and send us the result.

Hi ROOT term,
     Each time I want to quit the root program it will give the
following information:
root [28] .q

    I use RH9 with kde and gcc-3.2.2-5. I installed ROOT Pro version
3.04/02. Any suggestion? Thank you.
