Hi Thomas, Please give more details. -which version did you try to install? CVS head ? the 3.05/05 tar file? other? -which compiler/ gcc3.2? -How did you configure? Could you send the result of ./configure linux ? the h2root from the binary tar file is generated on a redhat system. very likely the libg2c.so library is incompatible with the Suse version. In this case, the only possibility is to recompile from source.
